WEBER Apple wood chips should be soaked in water before smoking. It is recommended to soak the chips for at least half an hour, but overnight soaking in water is also possible to achieve exceptional flavour results.

Once soaked, place the chips directly on the coals or coals. If you are going to smoke on a gas grill, use a special smoking cylinder or a cast iron tray for chips and coals.
